Campustown Projects Overview
Developments have now been completed near the campuses of the University of Illinois and Illinois State University. Construction is underway on Tartan’s latest development near the Indiana University campus in Bloomington. Tartan has recently acquired another site near IU’s campus and is working on securing a site near the campus of Michigan State University and a second site near Illinois State.
Tartan’s initial campustown project was a result of a client’s need for a corner storefront in a specific two block area. Unfortunately, what they were looking for didn’t exist. So we found the corner, acquired the site and built them exactly what they needed. We quickly found other national tenants with similar requirements and amassed a growing stable of national tenants and a portfolio of campus area developments.
